The metaverse is still a hot spot in the crypto market. Axie Infinity is the leader of P2E projects, and Ronin is an important infrastructure support for Axie Infinity games. At present, the valuation of RON is relatively low, but as the game projects on Ronin continue to increase, the potential for growth is relatively large.

Ronin is an Ethereum sidechain originally designed explicitly for the Axie ecosystem, with almost negligible transaction times and transaction fees. Ronin is an important infrastructure support for Axie Infinity games, including all transactions and all assets — Axie Pokemon, Land, SLP, AXS, WETH, and more.

RON is the governance token for the Ethereum sidechain Ronin, and currently the only way to get RON is to provide liquidity on Katana.

7. Project Vision

Ronin is a sidechain of Ethereum, created exclusively for the Axie Infinity community. At first, Sky Mavis, the team of Axie Infinity, wanted a reliable, fast, and cheap network that would keep the game going. Thus, the Ronin chain came into being. With the success of Axie Infinity, Ronin has accumulated a lot of users. But so far, most of the transactions on the Ronin network have been working for a single game, while Ethereum, Solana, and Flow all have ecosystems of multiple games. So in the end, the real innovation of Sky Mavis is not to deliver L1 itself, but to deepen the methodology of game economic design, so that the asset speed is consistent with other head L1s. If Sky Mavis can achieve this, the future potential of Ronin will be very huge.
