Capping a packed year, the world’s leading crypto exchange CoinW is sponsoring two key industry events in the MENA region this December, namely the Saudi Arabia Fintech Show in Saudi Arabia, and the Global Blockchain Congress in Dubai, UAE.

Both are highly prolific industry events expected to draw the movers and shakers of the global fintech and technology world.

CoinW’s Partner and Vice President of Global Partnerships, Sonia Shaw, will be sharing her insights on Web3 and crypto for the next generation during a fireside chat at the Saudi Arabia FinTech Show, to be held from 11th to 12th December 2023.

The Fintech Show is part of DATE (Digital Acceleration & Transformation Expo), Saudi Arabia’s largest and most impactful fintech conference and expo. It will be attended by leading fintech experts, innovators, and start-ups showcasing cutting-edge technologies to enterprises, investors, policymakers and government authorities — parties who are seeking new solutions in an increasingly digital-first, AI-powered world.

It is the perfect timing for Saudi Arabia to host this marquee event. In an industry report by New York blockchain analysis firm Chainalysis, Saudi Arabia ranked topmost for having the highest Year-on-Year growth (12%) in volume of cryptocurrency transactions among all countries; transaction volumes reached almost $31 billion between July 2022 to June 2023.

In the meantime, the Global Blockchain Congress (GBC) will be held in Dubai; similarly, CoinW will be participating as a gold sponsor at this event, and will be represented by its Chief Communication Officer, Carmen Tan. Ms Tan will be part of a panel discussion on “The Future of Crypto: Regulatory Uncertainty and the Way Forward” — a timely topic given the recent US regulatory judgements against the biggest player in the industry, Binance.

Unlike the Saudi Arabia Fintech Show, the GBC is neither a conference nor an exhibition but a semi-private event for pre-qualified blockchain projects to meet with high-profile investors (VCs, private equity firms, family offices, crypto funds and high-net worth individuals).

Themed “Will the Next Bull Market Be Different?” this will be the 12th edition of the GBC. The previous edition, held in London last year, saw a turnout of 1,500+ investors and 300+ blockchain start-ups.

Most recently, CoinW participated in the Australian Crypto Convention in Melbourne and the Wiki Finance EXPO in Sydney. In the coming week, CoinW’s global tour is returning to its headquarters in the MENA region, a small yet fastest-growing crypto market that is increasingly embracing crypto regulations. These events cement CoinW’s position as a pioneering digital assets service provider in the global fintech sector, coinciding with the kickoff of its 6th anniversary celebrations.
